Business Development Associate
Trubates is the "Local Deal Marketplace" where consumers can purchase discounted deals for almost anything in their neighborhood. Merchants can advertise their products and services at no upfront cost. As a Business Development Associate you will be and integral part of our rapidly growing business. Responsibilities
- Prospect and cold call local merchants via phone and email to register with Trubates.
- Help merchants craft deals that will be attractive to users in their city.
- Assess potential business deals, negotiate favorable terms and acquire prospective commitment.
- Manage ongoing relationship with merchants.
- Meet or exceed individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
Required Skills/Experience
- Four-year college degree required.
- High Volume inside Sales experience is desirable. Online advertising, telemarketing, direct marketing, local advertising or payroll sales are a plus. (or transferrable college experience)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be self-motivated, creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations.
The merchant development associate starts as a contractor position with a competitive base salary. Upon transition to full time associate employees are eligible for full health benefits, generous equity and participation in our commission program.
